First update of 2011~~~!! Yah~~~ xDD|||
Sorry the update of this site is slower than turtle for last few months ;A;
I was working on many projects at the same time, and that's why we got lots of exciting news for this year~~ ^-^
(check out icons on the right for quick overview~)
Last October, Yukie released the first original vocaloid song -- Hanamai Tsukuyomi Tan (Fantasia of Flower and the Moon). This is a collabration music project with talented composer Hoskey-sama. Thanks to our friends and all the nico users who supported us, the song reached 10,000 view in a few days and got #5 on the Vocaloid Daily Ranking on nicovideo.jp. It was also featured on the front page of Nicovideo Taiwan.
We didn't make PV for the song at that time due to time limit. Currently, Yukie is leading the PV making project, and working with many great artists, hopefully we could see it sometime this year ;)

Yukie got an invite from San Jose State University to be a guest of their Foreign Language Week 2011!
Thanks very much to the professor and department chair of FLL giving me this great oppotuny to contribute to the community and spread Japanese anime culture to SJSU students!
Yukie also have lots of friends graduated and currently studying at SJSU, many of them are also learning Japanese. I'm so happy to be able to perform at SJSU campus ^^v
Yukie also got invites as Guest of Honor to Kintoki-Con 2011 in Sacramento and Genki 2011 in Denmark.
Thanks to the organizers and staffs of Kintoki and Genki giving me the chance!! And it is the first time for me to hold live shows at those two locations as well~!
For Genki 2011, It will be also my first time holding live concerts in foreign country! I'll try my best to let anime fans in Denmark enjoy anime songs as much as friends here in US!
Details of those two conventions will be included in later updates ;)
Seems it will be a busy year for me, but I'm very happy because I could enjoy anime/vocaloid songs with more new friends around the world <3

Yukie had lots of fun at Hyper-Con2010 and JPop-Summit in San Francisco last weekend!

This is my first time giving a song a lot of personal character, it is a very cool experience for me too! ^^

SF Cherry Blossom Festival2010 was fun! ^__^
Yukie was performing GO MY WAY from Idol M@ster, thanks to all the audiences!
Yukie went shopping at gothic lolita store, ate Yakiniku and sang karaoke with friends afterwards~=3
Now I can concentrate on my performances at Fanime2010 ;)

Yukie had lots of fun at AX09. I did 6 performance for Ani-Maid Cafe, went to karaoke contest with my best friend (and luckily won the 1st place), met jun-chan and few other maids, and had birthday party with my best friends and my parents too! ^_____^
Of course one of the most exciting part is that I met lots of old & new friends there~~

Jun-chan is the happiest person on earth today~ She was on stage with Momoi <3 and Momoi-chan enjoyed the show too<3
Momoi has a very bright personality and she can make people around her instanously feel very positive and energetic. I wish I could learn it all from her.

Thanks everyone who watched my performance at Cherry Blossom Festival. ^________^
And those spritually supporting me as well!
A lot happened today and during paperation but I'm glad I still made it to the performance!
One of my tire was exploded on the freeway to Japan Town in the morning (happened to me first time in my life..), luckily I'm safe and didn't miss the performance ;)
Though I didn't attend cosplay contest and the parade, but that's okay. =)
I also met many old and new faces there, and even some normal life friends who didn't realized that was me haha =P
Yeah, I guess it happens to coplayers all the time ^-^
Unfortunately I didn't have chance to meet Jun-chan and other maids from fanime maid cafe >.<
It would be super cool if we could take some purikura together!<3
I'm so happy that I finially get a normal weekend off due to lab shutdown / gasline connection. Normal weekend is so cool!!
I haven't have this since last year (except that one time i visited my parents in LA).
Hmmm speaking of the troubles I went through during the preparation:
My costume was too huge for me when I first got it (I look like those Dragonball Z characters in it),
it took me a long time and a lot effort to sew it into smaller size. But I still look pretty big in it ;__; (ok im going to lose weight too >o</)
The wig I ordered got super delayed so I have to cut my current wig. I also brought bangles to make my upper body look more flat.
My skirt was too long that I have to wear 10 safety pins to hold them..yea things like that ^^;;
As for the performance part, I think I'm on the boarder line of passing. There are many things I should improve. But I still hope you guys enjoyed the show =)

Sorry for not updating for a while minna-san! I was working continously with almost no off days for a month.
I just had a normal weekend with my parents in LA last week, and realized how important I should balance work and life. I realized it a long time ago, but I haven't try hard enough to make changes. >.< (details on my blog =P)
So I will try to live a more normal life, and change my job if possible.
I also decided to go to Cherry Blossom Fesitival, Fanime09, and AX09. =)
For now, I don't have any plans other than working at Fanime maid cafe and helping my friend Rina at Artists Alley. (She is top 3 manga ka in China <3)
Going to conventions itself already good enough to make me feel like myself. (haha I haven't talked to people for so long, forgot how to talk ^-^;;;)
But if I have anything, I'll let you know =)

So, I think you already know I'm going to AOD2009 one Feb 15.

So, I will be holding a mini-performance panel at AOD on 2/15 11AM.
This is the first time I'm going to host a panel..Now I'm trying to get prepared for it>.< There are a lot of things to do, and I'm already behind schedule becuase of the internet issue.
I didn't want to make announcement before I get ready, but I guess this is a good way to motivate myself.^-^

Yukie went to Anime LA 2009 with best friend tsubasa-chan last Sat <3, we also went to Japanese karaoke place sang for 3.5 hours nonstop! Maybe I'll upload some of our karaoke video once i got back to silicon valley (the video is kinda random though @.@)
I just finished watching MacrossF, I would say it's the best anime of '08 (just my personal taste, I know you all love lelouch/c.c. and gundam00 haha)

So, I am going to two Japan Town events this coming Sat~ (10/4) I will be singing at San Francisco Japan Town 3pm on 10/4 for Aki Matsuri (Fall Festival).
and I will also work at Maid Cafe in San Jose Japan Town 10am-1230pm on 10/4 for their The Spirit of Japantown Festival~ ;) Details are HERE
So if you live nearby either Japan Town, please come to their special fall event and probably I will meet you there too =D

More pictures will be uploaded~ Yukie went to Yaoi-Con last Sat, hmmm it's a very specialized otaku culture I'd say..xD Sorry Yukie is not into yaoi =P. I loves normal coupling as always (and Yuri too ;o), but I learned a lot about yaoi there as well. ^-^ I'm also very happy that I met new and old friends there~
As for the update plans for the future, I will probably add a download section, and start exchange links with other talented otaku friends ;) So please stay tuned, more to come ^o^

Yukie might go to YaoiCon for the first time XD||| Since many of my friends are going, I'm not into yaoi/yuri though^^;; I love to see bishojo rather than bishonen in both anime and reality =P

I have not decided which theme I want to use though^^ The first blog post is kind dull since I was just talking about some of the AX08 GoHs. But you will find something new if you could suffer through reading the whole post ;3 Next time I will have something much more interesting there =D

BBS is up! ^o^/
Last time I setup a cgi bbs was 5 years ago..This time it took me the whole Sat evening to make it work.. So please take a look and leave a few words if possible <3 I want to meet new friends too ^^
Photo Gallery is now up! Yukie went to cherry picking with old college friends last weekend~ You can find some of my cherry picking photos there ;)
I'm still working on the blog layout..but I figured maybe I should write something there before finishing the design, since I have lots of interesting stuffs I want to share from last week^^
Yukie will be attending AX08 from 7/2-7/6, so hopefully I could meet you there nyo~ ;D

I just finished updating the Niconico Douga Medley Page. All the live videos are uploaded, and you can also find interesting niconico related videos that I found on youtube. I hope you guys enjoy them as well =D

Yukie went to Yaoi-Con last Sat, hmmm it's a very specialized otaku culture I'd say..xD Sorry Yukie is not into yaoi =P. I loves normal coupling as always (and Yuri too ;o), but I learned a lot about yaoi there as well. ^-^ I'm also very happy that I met new and old friends there~
